Two very exciting days in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2014!
Some learning I took home with me:
- Lots of Chinese here! Already in the airport huge welcome desks from Huawai and ZTE. My next smartphone will be from Huawai!
- Zuckerberg announces the next step in Internet – from 1.2 billion users to 5 billion with www.internet.org. Europe getting really small -we should better not loose too much time discussing about “Masseneinwanderung” etc…..
- Many regional and country pavilions, the Swiss Pavilion was the smallest in size I could find. Look below for another example:
- The biggest country booth I saw was from Israel, combining Start-up’s and SME’s
- The daily pitch sessions on our booth were a success
- Two Start-ups, Uepaa! and qipp, were selected for award presentations
- Even the Prince of Span visiting the Swiss booth!
